Good places for recreational scuba diving:
It is important to plan your recreational scuba diving trip with a trusted scuba diving organization.  Most of these plan and sanction scuba diving instructions.

Most well known are the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI), the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) and Scuba Schools International (SSI). The YMCA also has a long-standing and well-regarded scuba certification program.
